In Ferg Ferguson’s Employment Tribunal case the ass-kissing government lawyer Alison Doecke admits in her closing arguments Paul Newman told lies.

She cant say the word “liar” so she uses her government-lawyer-speak-bullshit instead:

“He made concessions where that was appropriate and his evidence is largely consistent with the documentary evidence.”

It was “not consistent with the documentary evidence” because Paul Newman lied

as we all knew he would

then got caught when documents were shown to him which were different to what he said under oath.

Was Paul Newman the only liar at the Employment Tribunal for Ferg Ferguson’s case?

Its so difficult to tell the difference when you cant get your easy story straight before coming to court.

Besties Rick and Paul made a big song and dance about Newman being (re)moved/reassigned away from the APY Lands in 2017.

The ladies doth protest too much, wethinks.

See if you can spot who is telling the truth because we cant.

First Rick Persse swears under oath Paul Newman wasn’t “moved” he was “reassigned”.

Then Rick says he “took the decision to have a dedicated director for the Lands which was Mark Ames”.

Why not make Paul Newman the “dedicated director for the Lands”? Sounds fishy already.

 

A few sentences later Rick forgets what he just said and accepts “moved”.

We’re so glad such a sharp brain is running the Department for Education in South Australia.

Then Rick blames Anne Millard for moving Newman.

Anne is the same person who tried to “reassign” aka “forced transfer off the Lands” Ferg Ferguson.

MR FERGUSON: Do you want a copy? So Mr Newman is the previous education director.

WITNESS: Yes.

MR FERGUSON: And he was moved off the Lands, wasn’t he, in 2017?

WITNESS: No, he got reassigned when I put on 30 per cent more education directors. So I wouldn’t want the court to buy in to the view that I moved him off the Lands.

MR FERGUSON: Was reassigned off the Lands and that’s the same thing, isn’t it?

WITNESS: As did many other education directors, he got a new assignment and I took the decision to have a dedicated education director for the Lands, which was Mark.

MR FERGUSON: And you moved him, personally?

WITNESS: No, it was a conversation with Ann Millard. She’s the accountable executive director. But education directors are a really pivotal part of the organisation, so Ann and I would talk at our regular meetings about those kind of things, yes.

MR FERGUSON: So the decision to move Mr Newman was made by you and Ann Millard. That’s your evidence.

HIS HONOUR: I just think where are we going with this?

MR FERGUSON: I’m just double-checking.

HIS HONOUR: Okay.

MR FERGUSON: Yes.

WITNESS: Ann Millard has delegation. What I said was that she and I would have discussed it but, ultimately, she was the decision-maker.

MR FERGUSON: Did she move him?

WITNESS: Sorry?

MR FERGUSON: She moved him?

WITNESS: She’s the decision-maker.

MR FERGUSON: So she moved him?

WITNESS: Sure.

 

The next day Paul Newman comes to give his evidence under oath.

He says the opposite to what Rick Persse said. Newman says very clearly he was not “reassigned”:

MR FERGUSON: You were removed at the end of 17, weren’t you?

WITNESS: Well, start of 18, yeah.

MR FERGUSON: December, wasn’t it?

WITNESS: January 2018 was the end of my contract, yeah. And just to clarify, I wasn’t removed.

MR FERGUSON: You weren’t reassigned.

WITNESS: No.

    The same as those who protected Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of young girls for years and years.

    He constantly tries to gaslight women and Rick Persse supports him to do it.

    He will be remembered as an employment-predator and an unrepentant abuser who took everything and deserves nothing.

  9. The employer: South Australian Department for Education currently run by Rick Persse “bears responsibility legally for the negligence that ultimately permitted Paul Newman to career-rape all those potential clients”.

    Paul Newman wants to be remembered. He will be – as a pitiful South Australian Government employment-predator, preying on your teaching career.

    “Where companies had actual knowledge of the predator’s acts, then took steps to hide those acts from the larger public and enabled that person to continue by keeping them employed or moving them away from the APY Lands the way Newman was, that sets reasonable grounds to hold those companies responsible,”

    And that should also be seen in the context of a post-#MeToo environment in which employers and board members can be held accountable for the actions of an employment-predator, such as Paul Newman, or for permitting an employment-predatory environment to develop.

    “One of the ways of trying to minimize or curtail these power-dynamic situations is for companies to take greater control of, and responsibility for, the acts of its executives and Education Directors. That’s really what we are trying to do in addition to holding Paul Newman personally accountable.”
